This role is a temporary to permanent position.


We are currently seeking a Payroll Processor in the Ohio Valley Area (Huntington, WV) within our team of experienced professionals. The candidate will be primarily responsible in ensuring all weekly/monthly union reporting is completed within required time constraints, union pay rates are maintained and union payroll compliance audits are resolved/managed in a timely fashion.

Job Specifications

Responsible for ensuring all unions are set up and maintained accurately in payroll system.

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely weekly/monthly remittance reporting to all utilized locals.

Working with the accounting department to resolve payroll compliance audits.

Capable of reconciling general ledger accounts and communicating results.

Education

  • HS Diploma. Degree or certification in payroll a plus.


Experience

  • 1-2 years accounting or auditing experience.
  • Union payroll experience a plus.
  • 2-Years experience in the construction industry preferable


Computer Skills

Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
