Job Summary

This position is a hybrid Reservationist/Conference Center Floater and EMS Trainer based on business demands and season. This position is responsible for assisting with resolving space conflicts, waitlists, and support of the conference center team to ensure seamless execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Space maximization and provide conflict resolution for managed spaces in NY/NJ and connection as necessary to global locations
* Address complex, escalated, unique and last minute requests to ensure proper space is utilized and effectively provisioned
* Work closely with Global team to ensure effective waitlist management and ensure consistent process to accommodate all possible requests
* Responsible for speciality projects as necessary
* Responsible for BCP coverage in Princeton, Jersey City & Greenwich
* Developing and maintaining an excellent rapport with clients via telephone or email instilling confidence that their meetings are being handled in an expert, timely, professional manner
* Create/update quick reference guides on EMS Reservation system as processes change


* 2 years of hotel, corporate or conference center experience
* Previousmanagement or supervisory experience
* Basic understanding of AV equipment
* Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills
* Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
