  • Manage and verify all financial transactions in accounts and journals from invoices, check stubs and purchase orders
  • Analyze and present financial data and monthly statements for CCB; monitor progress and keep senior leadership abreast of any issues as appropriate
  • Lead annual budget and planning process for CCB with department directors, review all financial plans and compare actual results with budget to explain and/or correct variances as appropriate
  • Manage organizational cash flow, reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage Fixed Assets and Depreciation schedules
  • Manage finance staff and oversee the integrity of their entries into the financial system

HUD Compliance: CCB

  • Respond to MHFA review of FC1 audit filings for CCB
  • Track Capital Needs related to most recent Capital Needs Assessment
  • Submit HUD-9250 to HUD for release of funds from Replacement Reserve Account
  • Submit operating budget to MHFA annually via WEB-ABCS system


  • Bachelor s Degree in accounting or finance with 7-10 years of related financial and managerial experience
  • Experience in final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination
  • Successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • 2-4 years experience supervising staff across different campuses
  • Commitment to mentoring, training and retaining a diverse team; the foresight and ability to delegate accordingly
  • Requires strong organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and payroll
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and Word) and experience working with accounting software required.
  • Prior experience in property management, HUD and/or MassHousing subsidized environment required
  • Experience with Yardi accounting and management software package for affordable housing required
