Nikutei Futago, opening soon this fall. We are located in Soho and seeking passionate, enthusiastic, knowledge-hungry, resilient, strong line cooks.
The restaurant is a kaiseki japanese barbecue restaurant, utilizing various primal cuts of A5 Wagyu. In addition, incorporating the usual traditional Kaiseki tasting menu items to present different ways to enjoy Wagyu.

If you're a meat lover or kaiseki enthusiast, this would be a great fit for you. If you're a sushi cook, the meat butchery and cleaning will feel right at home, we also serve wagyu nigiri sushi.

Qualities we value

  • Minimum of 2/3 years of line cook experience in an upscale or high volume restaurant. Or 1 year of fine dining experience.
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Detailed, punctual and career driven.
  • Positive attitude, no egos.
  • Strong communication skills and team oriented
  • Good knife skills.
  • Experience & Knowledge with Japanese cuisine, kaiseki, or asian cuisine
  • Meat butchery experience is a plus
  • Fish butchery, sushi experience is a plus
  • NYC Food Protection License
